Hello and welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management at The University of Maryland, College Park. I completed postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago and Northwestern University (UCANU) Postdoctoral Health Services Research AHRQ T32 Program and earned my PhD in 2023 from the University of Georgia’s Department of Public Administration and policy (Go Dawgs!).

My research focuses on how health policies—particularly cannabis legalization and Medicaid coverage design—and public health emergencies affect opioid and substance use, medication prescribing patterns, and treatment access across various populations. My work provides rigorous evidence linking policy changes to real-world health outcomes, primarily using insurance claims data.
